Paul was first admitted as a solicitor in 1995, practising in Auckland and then London in regulatory prosecution and property law.
He was admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland in 2006, specialising in Planning and Environment at a national law firm in Brisbane before joining the Queensland Bar in 2012.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Law from the Australian National University.
He is a member of the Bar Association of Queensland, participates in its Pro Bono Scheme, mentors final-year law students at QUT, and serves as a sessional academic in Practical Legal Studies.
